Runners, walkers and spectators are all welcome to gather in Shepton Mallet’s market place after the event, for a boxty feast, complete with Pilton Cider bar and music.
Boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake made with grated potatoes; pan-fried over charcoal until golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Served with spicy tomato sauce, spinach, grated cheese and topped with a poached egg.
The feast is suitable for vegetarians and there will be a vegan option available on request.
A perfect meal after a hard trail race or strenuous walk.
